By accessing Écoscience Online Journal, you and your Institution agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

The Écoscience Online Journal consists of online preprint articles, current articles and electronic archives of back dated issues. Content is available in PDF format. The Écoscience Online Journal permits the subscriber and its authorized users (i.e., employees, faculty members and students accessing from a computer or a mobile internet device within the IP range provided by the subscriber, or with a username and password for individual subscribers) to access content for limited purposes. Écoscience grants a limited, non-exclusive right to access and use the content during the established subscription period.

Authorized site : Each online subscription is for one authorized site, that is one geographical location (i.e., one contiguous campus community). Each autorized site is controlled by valid IP adress(es). There is no maximum number of IP for an authorized site.

Permitted use :  The Subscriber may view, print, and download copies of PDF articles for personal use. Brief quotations (less than 100 words) from content of article are permitted to authorized users, provided that the source is fully acknowledged.

Usage restrictions : The Subscriber and authorized users may not make copies for general distribution, for advertising or other promotional purposes, for creating new collective works, or for any resale purpose. For such copying and/or use of material, separate agreements must be made with the Ecoscience through the Copyright Clearance Center.

Security: The Subscriber is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any username and/or password (if such are provided), and hereby agrees not to provide access to  Écoscience Online Journal to anyone who is not an authorized user as defined above.

Any person who violates the copyright or the usage restrictions on content distribution may be refused future access to Écoscience Online Journal while Écoscience retains the right to any legal remedies available.
